Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a contract between you and Vedic Bhavishya ("we", "us"; Gurukrupa, Naupada, Thane West, Maharashtra 400602, India) for the Vedic Bhavishya mobile app, this website and related services (the "Service"). By installing, opening or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. The Service is not for children.

2. What the Service does

The Service calculates a Vedic (sidereal, Lahiri ayanamsa) birth chart from the details you give and provides: daily, weekly and monthly readings; a free Kundli; Guna Milan compatibility for people you add; and paid one-time reports. Readings and reports are written with the help of artificial intelligence from chart facts our software calculates.

3. Astrology is guidance, not advice

• Astrology is a traditional belief system and an interpretive art. It is not a science, and nothing in the Service is a prediction we guarantee. We give no assurance about any outcome in health, wealth, marriage, career, legal matters or otherwise.
• The Service is for guidance, reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice. Do not use it in place of a qualified professional, and do not delay or skip medical care, legal action or financial decisions because of anything you read here. If you are in distress, contact a doctor or a local helpline.
• We do not offer or claim cures, miracle remedies or supernatural results, and we do not sell gemstones, rituals or "puja" services.
• Marriage and compatibility content is a traditional framework, not a verdict on a relationship or a person. Please do not make decisions about another person's worth, health or fitness for marriage on its basis.

4. AI-written content and accuracy

Text is generated by an AI model and can contain errors, repetition or wording that does not suit you. Results depend heavily on the details you enter: an incorrect birth date, time or place produces a different chart. If you don't know your birth time, some parts (such as the ascendant and houses) will be approximate or hidden. We work to keep calculations correct, but we do not warrant that content is complete, accurate or error-free. Different astrologers and software may also differ (for example in the ayanamsa or dasha conventions used), so results may not match another source.

5. Your account

An anonymous account is created when you open the App. You may sign in with Google to secure it and restore purchases on another phone. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your device and Google account secure, and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time (section 15).

6. Other people's details

You may enter another person's name and birth details only if they know about it and are comfortable with it, or you are lawfully entitled to act for them (for example, a parent for a young child). You must not use the Service to harass, stalk, defame, discriminate against or pressure anyone, or to unlawfully obtain or infer information about a person. You are responsible for having the right to provide any details you enter, and you agree to our handling of them as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Purchases and payment

• Prices. All prices are in Indian rupees (INR) and are shown in the App before you pay: Month Ahead ₹49, Year Ahead ₹399, Advanced Kundli ₹149 (for yourself, or for a person you have saved), Sade Sati ₹199, Marriage & Timing ₹199, Career Direction ₹199, and a Match report ₹149 per pair. Prices can change; the price shown at the time you confirm applies. Taxes, where applicable, are as shown at checkout.
• One-time, no subscription. Each purchase is a single payment for a single digital report. There is no wallet, no minimum balance and no automatic renewal.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Google Play under Google's terms, using the payment method you have there. We never see your card or UPI details. On Google Play receipts, your bank or UPI statement and other payment records, the payee may appear as Miss Zigzag, the business account that receives payments for Vedic Bhavishya.
• What you get. A report is generated for the birth details, language and style you confirm at purchase, and it does not regenerate if you change those settings later. Month Ahead covers the month it is bought for; Year Ahead covers the 12-month period stated in the report; Advanced Kundli, Sade Sati, Marriage & Timing, Career Direction and Match reports are chart-based and stay in your account for as long as it exists.
• Delivery. Reports are delivered in the App, normally within a minute or two. You can export a report as a PDF for your own use.
• Restoring. If you sign in with the same Google account on a new phone, what you bought is restored.

8. Refunds and cancellation

Because a report is digital content produced for you and delivered straight away, purchases are generally non-refundable once the report has been generated and delivered. There is nothing to cancel, as there is no subscription. We will refund, or regenerate the report at your choice, if:

• you were charged but the report was not delivered or failed to generate;
• you were charged more than once for the same thing by mistake; or
• the report is materially not what you bought (for example for a different person or in the wrong language despite your confirmation).

To ask, use the Contact page and choose "Payment or report problem", giving your Google Play order number (in your purchase email from Google) and a short description. We aim to reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 3 to 7 business days depending on your bank or UPI app. Google Play may also offer its own refund options within its stated windows, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected by anything on this page.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: copy, scrape or harvest content, or use bots or automated means to access the Service; reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the App or our servers; attempt to bypass payments, unlock reports without paying, or abuse free features; resell, republish or commercially exploit readings or reports; upload unlawful, abusive or infringing content; probe or attack our security; or use the Service in breach of any law. We may limit or suspend access to protect the Service or other users.

10. Our content and your licence

The App, its design, text, ratings, charts and software, and the compiled reports, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App and to keep, read and share the reports you bought for personal, non-commercial purposes. You keep ownership of the details you enter, and you give us the permission needed to process them to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google (Play, Sign-In, Places), Supabase, Anthropic, RevenueCat and Expo. They have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or outages, though we choose them with care. Service interruptions may occur.

12. Notifications

If you switch on the morning reminder you agree to receive that notification. You can turn it off in the App or your phone's settings at any time.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the accuracy or reliability of any prediction or content. Nothing here limits any warranty or right you have under law that cannot be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service, including any decision you make based on a reading. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or your entering another person's details without the permission required in section 6.

15. Deleting your account, suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service at any time and can delete your account in the App (Profile → Delete account) or via the Delete account page. Deletion switches the account off immediately and permanently erases it after 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy; reports you bought are deleted with it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (in which case we will give reasonable notice and honour valid refund claims). Sections that by their nature should survive (for example ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first contact us so we can try to resolve any problem informally (see section 17). If it cannot be resolved, the courts at Thane, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting your right as a consumer to approach a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission that has jurisdiction over you.

We may update these Terms as the Service or the law changes. We will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the App. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it; if you don't, you can delete your account.

19. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in a business sale or reorganisation. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These Terms are written in English; any translation is for convenience and the English text prevails.
